Jameson's drift - Kwa-Zulu Natal

A quick trip trough the Natal midlands

During November of 1996 I took a quick weekend trip from Pretoria to Ballito on the North Coast of Natal. The ride down from Pretoria was rushed and I stuck to the freeways to make good time. The return trip was done at a different pace.

Although this could not be clasified as one of the major trips I've done, I still enjoyed the ride. It was a simple straight line from Kranskop to Dundee via Jamesons drift on the Tugela river. A fairly decent stretch of dirt road on good quality compacted dirt. The scenery was typical of rural Zululand with the huts on the mountainsides.

The following photographs are all from that trip.
